In parallel with the mobile tariffs’ reduction, mtc touch offers new privileges for “touch” customers

Beirut, March 1st, 2009: In line with the recent decision taken by the Council of Ministers and in compliance with full client satisfaction, mtc touch, the leading mobile operator in Lebanon and ZAIN affiliate, announced the implementation of a comprehensive plan as of March 1st, according to which it has reduced mobile tariffs and offers its customers new privileges. The plan will firstly benefit to all current and new postpaid “touch” customers.

The new plan stipulates the reduction of “touch” lines’ basic monthly subscription fees from 25 USD to 15 USD, equivalent to 40% less, as well as the reduction of minute rate from 13 cents to 11 cents, equivalent to 15% less.
 
Known for its groundbreaking initiatives, mtc touch has insisted to be the first to introduce the concept of “special packages and offers” in the Lebanese mobile telecom sector. In this direction, the company is enabling its “touch” customers with further privileges, the first of which being to grant them International Access by default, without the need for any deposits, subscription or activation fees.
 
Furthermore, mtc touch is offering one free hour of local talk-time with every purchase of a “touch” line, an exclusive offer during March 2009.
 
From his end, mtc touch Chief Commercial Officer, Nadim Khater, highlighted the company’s leading position in the Lebanese market, stressing the need for mtc touch to stay ahead in terms of state-of-the-art services and attractive offers. He said: “Our set objectives for 2009 aim at transforming the mobile telecom sector in Lebanon. We have managed to pioneer this transformation by introducing added value offers, such as granting “touch” customers International Access by default and offering a complimentary hour of local calls with every purchase of a touch line. We promise all Lebanese consumers that this is only the beginning”.
