New International Services mtc touch offers new international services Beirut, May 11th, 2010: mtc touch, the leading mobile telecommunications operator in Lebanon and Zain affiliate, announced the offering of new international services, including the launching of a new SMS HUB which expands the reach of the SMS service to cover more than 800 international destinations around the world.
mtc touch also announced the launching of the Data Roaming service on Aircrafts, thus being the first mobile operator in Lebanon to offer this revolutionary service. Around two and a half years ago, the company had exclusively introduced the Roaming on Aircrafts service in the Lebanese market back in January 2008.
The company provides Data Roaming on Aircrafts in partnership with Aeromobile and Onair companies to all its customers, allowing them to use data services in addition to making and receiving calls as well as sending and receiving sms while traveling on board of aircrafts, either via the BlackBerry or Internet (GPRS) or the Mobile Internet services.
In parallel, the company has boosted the number of data roaming partners to more than 150 Arab and international mobile operators spread across the world, noting that mtc touch has been offering the Data Roaming service for over four years now.
These new international services come in line with the company’s long term strategy to provide its customers with the widest range of cutting edge mobile services in Lebanon, ones that ensure they are constantly connected to their businesses, families and friends wherever they are and whenever they wish to.
