Mothers Day with the Elderly mtc touch celebrates Mother’s Day with elderly mums
Beirut, April 4th, 2011: In line with its special mother’s day activities, mtc touch – the leading mobile telecommunication operator in Lebanon and Zain affiliate – organized a series of visits to retirement homes across the country, during which mtc touch employees celebrated this special occasion with elderly mothers and handed out special gifts.
“Mother’s Day is one of the most important occasions in our calendar,” explained Ghada Barakat, Corporate Communications and Relations Manager at mtc touch. “This year we chose to celebrate it with senior mothers in recognition of a life spent raising generations of children with love, generosity and tenderness. We also wanted to recognize them as role models of knowledge, values and forgiveness, while wishing them a long and happy retirement.”
The visits fall within mtc touch’s continuous efforts to fulfill its Corporate Social Responsibility obligation to Lebanese society, one that goes beyond its business development, and one which enhances its relations with all members of the wider Lebanese community.
