Auction on Platinum Numbers mtc touch 4th public auction on platinum numbers raises USD 835,750
Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Telecommunications
Beirut, December 20th, 2011: In collaboration with the Ministry of Telecommunications, mtc touch - the leading mobile telecommunications operator and Zain’s affiliate in Lebanon - organized its fourth public auction on platinum numbers on Monday 19th December 2011, at Habtoor Grand Hotel.
The auction showcased 47 platinum numbers, 45 of which were sold for a total amount of USD 835,750, and the result of the top five numbers was as follows:
1. Number 76000000 came in first place as the most expensive number sold at USD 75,000
2. Number 76666666 in second place and sold at USD 65,000
3. Number 76767676 in third place and sold at USD 50,000
4. Number 71222222 in fourth place and sold at USD 45,000
5. Number 71333333 in fifth place and sold at USD 42,500
It is worth mentioning that all four public auctions on mtc touch platinum numbers have totalized the amount of USD 5,536,391 combined.
