Additional Tariff Reductions mtc touch offers additional reductions reaching 60% and provides the CLIR service for prepaid customers Beirut, 26 May 2009: mtc touch, the leading mobile telecommunication operator in Lebanon and Zain affiliate, announced another series of tariff reductions on selected postpaid “touch” and prepaid “magic” services.
For prepaid services, mtc touch reduced the price of MMS by 33%, down from 45 cents to 30 cents, in addition to offering the CLIR service for prepaid customers for a monthly fee of $10.
As for postpaid services, various discounts took place:
- 50% on the MMS service, down from 40 cents/MMS to 20 cents/MMS
- 50% on the monthly fee of the CLIR service, down from $20 to $10
- 60% on the monthly fee of the Advanced CLIR service, down from $25 to $10
- 50% on the monthly fee of the Missed Call SMS notification service, down to $1/month only
Furthermore, new reduced price plans for “touch” Internet services are announced as follows:
- 50 MB capacity for $10/month
- 120 MB capacity for $15/month
- 250 MB capacity for $25/month
$0.1 for every additional megabyte.
