mtctouch launches 76 code mtc touch introduces the 76 series with a whole new range of mobile numbers
Beirut, 18th August, 2010: mtc touch, the leading Lebanese mobile network provider and ZAIN Group affiliate, announced the introduction of a new series of mobile numbers starting with the code 76 for both “magic” prepaid and “touch” postpaid lines. The move comes after the supplies of mobile numbers with 03, 70 and 71 codes were exhausted. The 76 series numbers have the necessary approval from the Ministry of Telecommunications and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and are now available at all mtc touch service centers and points of sale.
Local callers must dial the new 76 code followed by the six-digit mobile number, while international callers must dial the country code 961 followed by 76 and the six-digit mobile number as follows: 00961 76 xxx xxx.
