Rola Abu Daher - Chief Technical Officer

Rola Abu Daher, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) managing the technical department at mtc touch, enjoys over ten years of experience in the field of Network Communication Technology.

Starting with Dar Al-Handasah, as a design network engineer, Abu Daher then occupied the position of Radio Planning Senior Engineer at LibanCell between 1998 and 2004, where she was responsible for supervising, planning, upgrading and troubleshooting the GSM network.

Since joining mtc touch in June 2004, she has held positions of increasing responsibilities.  She led the Radio and Transmission Planning department, where she was responsible for managing and optimising the team resources, ensuring radio and transmission network quality and planning in order to meet market requirements. One year later, she was appointed Chief Technical Officer,

During the July War of 2006, she showed great leadership and commitment while the telecommunication infrastructure was bombarded through out the war. Aware of the urgent need to restore communication, Abu Daher and her team were able to get network sites running in a record 36 hours.

Her current position entitles her to operate, maintain and expand the network and to explore and prepare its infrastructure to accommodate new technologies and services. Her objective is to build a very strong concurrent team that will enable mtc touch to address its market needs, and continuously grow in order to maintain its position as a leader in the market.

Abu Daher, 2007 ICT Woman of the Year, is a graduate of the American University of Beirut with a bachelor degree in Computer, Communication, and Electrical Engineering.
