To assume its social responsibility, mtc touch actively contributes to the well being and growth of society, which is achieved through the use of sustainable programs that cater to pillar-components; Health, Education, Environment, and Community.
At mtc touch, we commit to improving the quality of life, and not only by providing high-end technologies. We achieve this goal by preserving and protecting the environment, financially supporting the educational sector and funding welfare associations, sports clubs and other social and cultural activities.

Walk with Al Younbouh
mtc touch took further steps in its path of supporting philanthropic activities through the support of two sports events of humanitarian nature: the Tyre International Half Marathom “Habibi Ya Jnoub” and the 5 KM “Run for a Mine-Free Lebanon”, and the annual event “Walk with Al Younbouh” organized by Al Younbouh Center for the rehabilitation of mentally disabled young adults. Supporting the Tyre International Half Marathon surpassed the physical aspect and became a humanitarian cause, as it was an occasion to spread awareness in the community of the importance of encouraging the rehabilitation of mentally disabled young adults.

The collaboration between mtc touch and YASA has generated several initiatives and awareness activities including the joint outdoor road safety campaign, the 6th national conference for road safety as well as other awareness initiatives such as the launching of two publications - the “Driver Guide” and the “Road Safety in Lebanon” - and the production of Video Clips shown in Universities to raise awareness among youth about safe and correct driving.

"The Little Book of Love Quotes"
With its mission statement as “no child should die from heart disease because of a lack of funds”, Brave Heart turned “the Little Book of Love Quotes” into a fund raising project. With Brave Heart and American University of Beirut Medical Center as the main beneficiaries and mtc touch as the sole sponsor, the project aimed to help needy children suffering from Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). The book celebrated love through the words of 365 children- each giving their own definition of what love means to them. All 5000 copies were sold out, generating $22,695 to the Brave Heart fund and providing medical assistance to 200 needy children.
This project allowed us to fulfill our mission of contributing to the community and to serve and touch peoples’ lives through new communication channels.

Recycling Initiative
In line with its restructured environmental strategy, mtc touch devoted one day, the 14th of August, to collect and recycle used prepaid “magic orange” scratch cards. mtc touch subscribers massively mobilized to participate in this one day program, involving 2380 customers, and collecting around 61,000 used plastic scratch cards. This event coincided with the first annual memory of the July-August 2006 war which has imposed a heavy burden on the Lebanese environment. mtc touch considers that it is its civil, social and national duty to contribute to the protection and the preservation of the environment in any way possible.
